PERSONAL INJURY/ACCIDENT

WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN INJURED YOU NEED PEACE OF MIND

Were you or a loved one the driver or passenger in a vehicle that was involved in an accident and you were not at fault?  Or, were you or a loved one personally injured when you slipped and fell at a business or residence or were the victim of a physical assault?

If you answered yes to anyone of these questions, contact us for a Free Consultation with one of our lawyers.  We have a well established history of getting our client's significant money damages for their injuries.

HERE ARE OUR STEPS TO SUCCESS

IF YOU HAVE BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT

  • Get the other's driver's identificaiton and insurance information.  If possible, get the VIN number of their car and license plate information.

  • Insist on a police report or investigation.

  • Get all witness contact information.

  • If you are able, take pictures of the cars before they are moved and after.  If your phone can take videos, make one.

  • Do not admit fault or say that you are in any way to blame or that you should have "seen them".

  • Take photos of any injuries or bruises.

  • Keep all of your receipts.

  • Report your loss to your insurance company, but do not give a statement to the other driver's insurance company.  Any statement that you give them will be used against you.

  • Do not sign anything containing a statement by you until you speak with an attorney.

  • Do not sign up with any lawyer or doctor who has someone conveniently there to sign you up and avoid any lawyer that has someone to contact you first.  Not only is this practice illegal, but these people usually have a deal with each other to make sure that they get the most money possible and not you.  They will run up high bills for unnecessary treatment then agree to reduce the bill to settle your case quickly and cheaply to make sure that they get paid.  You will be left with hardly anything.

  • See your doctor right away or go to the hospital.  If you feel any pain, do not think that you are helping yourself by refusing treatment.  The paid will kick in later and the insurance company will claim that you are faking.

  • Tell your doctor of all of your physical pain.  Do not minimize or exaggerate anything.

  • Follow up with all medical treatment ordered by your doctor.  Any breaks in treatment will reduce the amount of money that the insurance company will pay.

  • If seriously injured, do not try to settle your own claim.

Personal injury cases take time to handle correctly.  Whatever money that you get must compensate you for everything.  We believe that you should get you fixed first and then get compensated properly for you injuries.
