ABOUT US
Kirby Clements, Jr., is our senior trial attorney. He is admitted to practice in Georgia, New York and the District of Columbia.  He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates.

Kirby is a graduate of Emory University School of Law ('90).  He obtained his undergraduate degree from Oral Roberts University ('87).  While at Emory he was a member of the Mock Trial Special Teams.  He was an officer in BLSA, and he competed in the Frederick Douglas Moot Court Competition.  At Oral Roberts he was a member of the Men's Division I track and field team.  He was a shot putter and discus thrower.  He was also a trumpet player in the concert band.  Kirby is an Atlanta native and attended Woodward Academy in College Park, GA.  

Professionally, Kirby started his legal career as a prosecutor.  He worked with the City of Atlanta Solicitor's Office followed by the Dekalb County Solicitor's Office where he was Senior Trial Attorney.  He went to the Fulton County District Attorney's Office where he was a Senior Trial Attorney and also an appellate Attorney.  As a prosecutor, he had an outstanding record on appeals and has several reported cases.  See, Betty v. Kirby left Georgia and went to the Kings County District Attorney's Office in Brooklyn, New York.  While there he rose rapidly through the ranks.  He was promoted to Counsel to the Sex Crimes and Special Victim's Unit and later was the First Deputy Bureau Chief of the School Advocacy Bureau handling general and white collar crimes having a connection to school activities.  While in Brooklyn, Kirby taught trial techniques in-house as well as supervised interns.  It was in Brooklyn that Kirby first began his appearances on television frequently appearing on Court TV.

Kirby returned to Georgia in 2002 and formed the Law Offices Of Kirby Clements, Jr., which was subsequently renamed The Clements Law Group, LLC. once Gina Clements Boyd joined the firm as a partner.  He handles all trial and appellate work for the firm.  In addition, he handles criminal defense and consumer rights litigation.  Kirby has achieved a win on appeal in a criminal case that is reported.  See, Campbell v. State, 648 S.E.2d 684 (2007).  he has also prevailed on a motion for new trial on a murder case getting a life sentenced reversed in Fulton County.

Kirby has taught trial techniques for the Kessler Eidson Trial Techniques program at Emory University School of Law.  He has also taught at the Prosecuting Attorneys Council of Georgia's Basic Litigation Course, the National Highway Transportation and Safety Administration DUI and Vehicular Homicide Course, Litigation techniques at the Kings County District Attorney's Office, and coached the Emory University Undergraduate Mock Trial team.  

Kirby is married and has two children and a chihuahua.  He appears on national television shows such as Nancy Grace, After Dark, Evening Express, Weekend Express, as well as having appeared on Montel, MSNBC, CNN Evening News, ATL Insider and other television and radio programs.  In addition to being a legal analyst, he is also a public speaker.

Gina Clements Boyd

Managing Partner

Gina Clements Boyd is a graduate of New York Law School ('00).  She obtained her undergraduate degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1991.  Subsequent to receiving graduating Gina as the CEO of Gina Clements Consulting, a public relations firm in Atlanta.  In 1993, Gina dissolved her firm and decided to pursue her Master's degree in Mass Communications from Oklahoma State University ('95).


She returned to Atlanta and worked for The Coca-Cola Company in its Marketing Works department prior to attending law school.  While in law school  Gina interned at BMG Entertainment and at Joseph E. Seagram and Sons.  In addition, she was a graduate assistant, and the Intern for the Entertainment Section of the New York State Bar.  Gina is an Atlanta  native, and attended Woodward Academy in College Park, Georgia.


In 2002, Kirby, started The Law Offices of Kirby Clements, and subsequent to passing the Bar, Gina joined the firm as a Partner, and the firm's name was changed to The Clements Law Group, LLC.  As a fledgling attorney, she looked to her seasoned brother for guidance.  Gina specializes in Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, and Premises Liability cases.  In addition, she has experience in contract review, contract drafting, incorporations, negotiations, and homeowner association disputes.


Gina has been a speaker for numerous high schools, and organizations.  She taught business law at DeVry University, and has served on several boards, including Brown Mackie College, D.R.E.A.M. Academy, Lithonia High School, and The Community of the Holy Spirit.  In addition, she serves at the president of the parent's association at her son's elementary school.


In addition to practicing law, Gina is the Chief Operating Officer of GCB Cosmetics, LLC, a cosmetic company that she launched in 2014.  Gina resides in Decatur with her husband, Jeffery.  They have four children.
